Today marks the one-year anniversary of me being self-employed! On October 18th 2021, I registered my “Company of One” at the Chamber of Commerce and soon after I landed my first assignment.
And next to that, today I also started my third assignment! A double celebration!
In my newly appointed position at the Bonnefantenmuseum, I will be responsible for business and financial controlling, as well as optimizing the financial administration and underlying processes. In addition, software for (financial) accounting will also be implemented and is a part of my project as well.
I’ve enjoyed my experience as an interim professional so far. The companies I have worked for on an interim basis operate in a wide variety of fields. These include those that manufacture appliances for labs, to a chemical manufacturing company to a foundation specializing in museums, art galleries and exhibition spaces.
I enjoy this versatility! I have of course worked in many sectors during my permanent jobs, and I am glad that I am able to continue this as an interim professional. It shows that I am versatile myself and that I can thrive in quite different environments and cultures.
So in short, I am looking forward to my second year as an independent financial professional!
