“𝓗𝓸𝓶𝓮, 𝓼𝔀𝓮𝓮𝓽 𝓱𝓸𝓶𝓮”

Recently I started as Business Controller / Project Controller at Woonbedrijf in Eindhoven, the largest housing corporation in the southern Netherlands, with over 33,000 social housing units in Eindhoven, Veldhoven and Helmond, among others. The organisation works daily on fine and affordable housing for everyone, with firm ambitions in the areas of new construction, sustainability and liveability.

What immediately appealed to me in this assignment was the combination of social relevance and strategic financial issues. The challenges are great: from increasing housing pressure in the region to affordability issues and accelerating sustainable investments.

In my role, I operate at a strategic level, where I advise management on policy and investment decisions. I assess the financial feasibility of plans and provide guidance on steering, risk management, and compliance. A key focus is ensuring healthy financial continuity for Woonbedrijf, enabling sustainable investments and long-term value creation. I see it as my responsibility not only to analyse figures, but also to bring focus to decision-making, always with an eye on the social impact of choices.
